A veteran songwriters songwriter, Lew Card is no stranger to life on the road and in the studio. After playing mandolin in various Austin bands over the last decade, Card has set out the last few years on creating his own music. On his 3rd release, Follow Me Down out January 1, 2016 on his newly formed label Monomer Recording Company, Card branches out into new sonic territory. Produced by James Stevens, Follow Me Down not only showcases Card’s talents as a songwriter/guitar picker but also brings in the talents of Earle Poole Ball (The Byrds/Johnny Cash/Heybale), Doug Strahan (The Good Neighbors), and The Tijuana Trainwreck Horn Section (Uncle Lucius/Shinyribs). Follow Me Down is a pleasant departure from the stripped down sound of last years critically acclaimed Low Country Hi-Fi.
